A Brief Autobiography
I am a typical middle-class guy. I am married to a wonderful woman named Cindy, and I have two stepkids: Amber who is 17 and Aaron who is 15. Amber is in the 12th grade in High School, and Aaron is in 9th Grade in High School. I have been in their lives since they were 5 and 3 years old, and I think of myself as their dad.
Cindy is a wonderful woman, and a terrific mom. She has some medical issues that have landed her on Federal Disability, but she works whenever she can to bring money into the house, and she does a great job of cooking and cleaning, and keeping me and the kids happy and healthy.
I am a chemical engineering technician in the process development group of an international company. Globally, the company employs about 3000 people (about 700 are located at the headquarters office where I am), and has sales of around $650 million per year.
I have a BA in Mathematics, and a BS in Industrial Chemistry. I am currently working on my MBA degree.
As a family, we like to do a lot of things. First, we are all computer junkies to some extent. My son, Aaron, and I are probably the worst. We can spend hours playing video games and not even realize how much time we waste. We also like playing miniature golf, we like camping, and we love going to amusement parks. We play board-games often (Monopoly, Payday, Life) and card games sometimes as well (cribbage, gin rummy).
Television isn’t a big part of our lives, but there are a couple of shows that we are devoted too. Lost is our favorite family show, followed closely by Survivor. My daughter, Amber, and I watch Heroes and Stargate: Atlantis. Aaron’s favorites are Spongebob and Yu-Gi-Oh, and Cindy is addicted to Law & Order and pretty much any movie on the Lifetime channel.
